Bill is responsible for the strategy, development and management of Data & Insights products that deliver innovation, intelligence and insights to the health, wellness and natural products industry. With over 20 years of experience in management consulting, software product management and technology-based market research, Bill’s unique background blends data, software, analytics and industry expertise to create innovative solutions for clients.
Prior to joining the Penton family in 2013, Bill was Senior Director of Social Media and Text Analytics at J.D. Power and Associates, where he pioneered new ways of blending traditional market research with social media analytics to create new types of data and valuable insights for clients across many industries.
Previously, Bill was Vice President of Product Management for Umbria, (acquired by J.D. Power in 2008) and was Senior Director, Solution Consulting for Informative Inc. (acquired by Satmetrix in 2007). At Informative, he helped customers including Bose, Sprint and Mars with product development, marketing and branding initiatives. He also spent several years consulting for prominent firms as Deloitte Consulting, Coopers & Lybrand and Sapient.
Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the University of Virginia and a MBA from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
